MAP: Turtle Island Decolonized

If you’ve been to the Neighbourhood Shop, you’ve likely seen a copy of the Decolonial Atlas’ Turtle Island Decolonized map. We love sharing this resource, which shows so-called North America with the many place names it was known by before colonization. You may also notice that it lacks the current, colonial borders.

Featuring nearly 300 names and 150 Indigenous languages, this map is free to print for your own space.
